They are made with locally-sourced wool and natural dyes, which lend them their vibrant and long-lasting colours. The designs are typically geometric, featuring intricate patterns inspired by the region's history and folklore. The characteristic She Hoze motif, composed of three hexagonal medallions arranged vertically and filled with motifs such as animals and stars, is typically used in these carpets.
